Moshe Lichtman brings 30 years of product and leadership experience in the global high tech industry. In 2011 he retired from Microsoft where he was Corporate VP responsible for several of its consumer businesses. As head of MSN’s international business in the late 90′s, Moshe was responsible for quadrupling the business to become the #1 network in Europe, Canada, Australia and many other international markets. Under Moshe’s leadership in the early 2000′s, Microsoft’s TV business became the leading provider of IPTV platforms to telecom operators globally. Upon returning to Israel in 2006, as President of Microsoft’s R&D center in Israel, Moshe was responsible for turning the Israel operation into one of the three largest strategic innovation hubs outside the US. Mr. Lichtman was also among the leaders of the Windows 95 team and President of Softimage, a leader in media creation software. Prior to Microsoft, Mr. Lichtman held software development and management positions in several high-tech startups. Mr. Lichtman is the co-author of the best-selling book “The complete guide to the C language” and holds a BSc Cum Laude in Computer Engineering from the Technion – Israel Institute of Technology, and an MBA from the MIT Sloan School. In 2009 Mr. Lichtman was selected Top High Tech CEO of a large multinational company in Israel by the Israel Management Institute. Mr. Lichtman is currently an active angel investor in Israeli startups and is a board member or observer at CallApp, Similar Web, MyRoll, Softwatch, Engageya, Appsee and R2Net.
In 2012 Haim Shani retired from the Ministry of Finance where he served as Director General (2009-2011) and the Head of the Competitiveness Committee. Prior to that, he served as CEO of NICE Systems (NASDAQ:NICE). As CEO, Mr. Shani led the company’s business from $100m in revenues to $700m and oversaw value growth from $100m to $2.5b. Mr. Shani came to NICE from Applied Materials (Israel), where he served as VP of its Israeli business (Ex Opal/Orbot) for a period of three years. From 1992 to 1998, Mr. Shani held various management positions at Orbotech Ltd. as Corporate Vice President of Marketing and Business Development, President of Orbotech’s Asia Pacific subsidiary and President of Orbotech Europe. Prior to that, Mr. Shani held various management positions at Scitex Corporation and IBM Israel. Mr. Shani holds a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial and Management Engineering from the Technion – Israel Institute of Technology, and an MBA from INSEAD, France. In 2006 Mr. Shani was selected Top High Tech CEO in the large corporations category by the Israel Management Institute, and in 2008 was named one of the top 10 CEOs in Israel by Dun & Bradstreet. Mr. Shani is currently serving as Chairman of the UK Israel Tech Hub, a board member at Strauss Water, R2Net and GreenRoad and a member of the Advisory Committee, Supervisor of Banks, Bank Of Israel.
Uri Erde has over 12 years of experience in the fields of finance and capital markets. Prior to joining IGP Uri was a senior investment manager with KCPS Private Equity, a buyout firm focusing on Israeli related companies, where he led investments, acquisitions and integrations in the fields of agri-tech, logistics, healthcare, industry and IT. Earlier in his career, Uri held several positions with Gornitzky & Company, KPMG and Prof. Itzhak Swary & Company, where he provided financial and legal advisory in the fields of capital markets, taxation and private equity. Uri is a CPA and a Lawyer, and holds B.A in Accounting (summa cum laude) and L.L.B (magna cum laude) both from Tel-Aviv University.
Assaf Harel has over 12 years of experience in tech-focused Private Equity investments and leadership roles in high-tech companies. Prior to joining IGP, Assaf served as the CEO of Sentigo Technologies, and as a Principal with Viola Private Equity and SCP Private Equity Partners. His global investment experience includes Growth Equity, Venture Capital, Buyouts, M&A and Special situations. Earlier in his career, Assaf served as a Director of Business Development with HyperRoll (acquired by Oracle) and held R&D roles with EDSL Networks (acquired by Orckit) and RADVision. Assaf holds an MBA in Finance from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, and a B.A in Computer Science and Management from Tel Aviv University.
Efrat has over 15 years of experience in marketing, administration, customer service and sales. Efrat was a team manager, sales associate and an executive assistant at Coldwell Banker in San Diego. Prior to that she held marketing and administrative positions at Ameba Marketing and at the Israeli Ministry of Defense, Mission to the United States in New York City. Efrat holds a B.Ed. in Physical Education from the Wingate Institute and a Master’s degree in Communication Arts from the New York Institute of Technology.
